Victor, VRod grew up loving the arts. Art of all kinds, drawing, painting, even the occasional graffiti. "I think this great love for art really pushed me to become what I am today, well that and my wife who bought me my first tattoo kit." My very first job in a tattoo shop was about 6 years ago in Ventura, CA. It was a great shop where I met a lot of clients, and friends, and started to grow my business. From there my wife and I decided we wanted to re-locate to an entire different state for a change for our soon to be growing family. We chose Las Vegas, Nevada to call home. We have lived here for about a year and a half and really enjoy it. My passion for tattooing is twice as strong as it was 6 years ago and I’m sure it will continue to grow as I continue to learn amazing things about my trade. I enjoy doing all sorts of tattoos from the basic black and grey to very colorful pieces. I specialize in drawing up my own custom artwork, so each piece I draw is made just for you. I have been with the Executive Tattoo Lounge near the Palms Casino since day one.

International Hip Hop Tattoo Artist, Sin City Smitty has been on a mission to take his Tattooing to a whole new level.
Smitty is far from your average tattoo artist and has an immense art background. Smitty began studying art at an early age and after spending time studying Illustration at the Columbus College of Art and Design he took his talents too the West Coast where Smitty received a Degree in Graphic Design from Brooks College in Long Beach, California. Using the skills he learned, Smitty's design resume built up significantly. Smitty has designed for some of the biggest names in the action sports and music industries from Silver Star to Fender Guitars but it was a job working for the clothing brand Hart & Huntington that changed things for Smitty and his Tattoo Career. Tattoo artists in southern California began to take notice of his work and one such artist gave him a shot to apprentice under his tutelage. A year later and a lot of hard work and dedication to the art of tattooing Smitty was out on his own trying to find a full time job in the industry which brought Smitty to Sin City. With clients from all over the world Smitty thrived in Las Vegas and soon he was off traveling the world. Having attended Las Vegas Tattoo Conventions here and abroad has brought Smitty as far out as New Zealand where he frequents on a yearly basis tattooing at Ink & Anchor Tattoo & Art Space. Befriended by the Industry Smitty tattoo career continues to transcend his wildest dreams and having a brother Tash from the Hip Hop group Tha Alkaholiks, has given Smitty a chance to tattoo many celebrity clientele like West Coast Rap Artist 40 Glocc from G-Unit and many more. Smitty has high aspirations for his career as a tattoo artist and seems to continue to achieve the goals he has set out for himself. 5 years later after having an opportunity to tattoo at the Queen Mary in Long Beach in the Ink N Iron Tattoo Festival Smitty says "I finally feel like my peers are starting to take notice of my work and I couldn't be happier." |
